Pornography is to sex ...

... what McDonalds is to food.

An examination of pornography as industrialisation of sex and how it feeds toxic masculinity that actively participates in the vicious cycle of victimisation and sexual violence.

Oh dear ...

one of the best bits here - dehumanization of the women and the question she throws out - what does it mean to be a man? how the industry informs culture and how technology spreads the culture and in turns inform young minds. oh dear god help us.

p.s. i forgot about my throbbing knee for awhile watching this.

Go right on ahead, honey. Glad you like it. I slept at 3.45 am watching this video, I was that rapt.

The speaker is married to an Israeli, so yeah, quite likely to be conversant with the relevant issues and perhaps a decent understanding of Hebrew too. *grin*

You got your Mom to watch this with you? Golly ...

Hmm spoil your masturbation sessions doesnt it hehe....

but I dont think this video will stop you from wanking haha..

those women in the videos dont some how look like the fat presenter.

Its easy for ugly fat women to condemn beautiful shapely women who exposed their bodies and let men take advantage..they dont have to go through the temptations ...

Hello Spoiler,

Thanks for the comment and for dropping by. Nothing in this world can stop a boy from taking his handle in his hand (so to speak) and wank away. Heck, I had a schoolmate who was wanking away to our History teacher who was tall, scrawny and shrill (not to mention boring).

I think you may have missed the point about women in pornography as elucidated by the speaker. Granted that there are many who made a conscious choice to be in the industry (e.g. Sasha Grey) and has spoken most eloquently about the empowerment of porn for women.

This however does not negate that many an adult actress were sexually and physically abused as children and teens and exhibitionism has become a way of dealing with the trauma (please refer to articles about child and teen rape victims who became "sluts"). Or the high cases of painkiller addictions among adult actresses (and actors) that is also attributed to the more gonzo pornography shoots (more extreme, more physical, more injury, more reliance on sedatives and painkillers).

No one (except for rabid religious types) is saying that men should stop wanking (with or without porn aid). This is just food for thought so that you can consume your media with a little thought beyond getting off, is all. The message could come from physically attractive or unattractive people but the message stays the same, you know.

One thing that pornography does is put undue pressure on other women. Used to seeing shaved pussies on the internet many were disappointed with the pics of Elli Wong when they first appeared.

Many continues to make jokes about forests and trees and bushes..hehe.

When will these people going to realise bushes are the natural thing, though of course you dont get to see much... hmm will elli wong shave now due to these pressures?

Pics please..

Hello Eli Pics,

I refrained from looking up for Ms. Wong's au naturel shots; as a woman, I have a horror of skanky voyeur shots of that nature, after a friend was traumatised by a peeping tom.

But you are right about porn putting undue pressure on women to look a certain way. Not to mention normal men who now have to take viagra to last longer than 6 minutes.
